Why we built this
StudyByMe was built by an independent developer who found that plain white timer apps made long study sessions feel like a chore. The Pomodoro technique works — but staring at a blank countdown for hours doesn't. The idea was simple: what if your study environment actually felt like somewhere you wantedto be? A place that looked like Gojo's domain expansion, or the silent darkness of L's headquarters, or the electric energy of Zenitsu's thunder breathing — not a generic productivity dashboard.
The result is StudyByMe: five immersive anime-themed study environments, each with its own color palette, typography, and ambient atmosphere. Pomodoro and stopwatch modes, cloud sync across all your devices, and zero ads — ever. No subscription required. No account needed to start. Just pick a character, hit start, and focus.
Our philosophy
We believe your productivity tools should get out of the way. That means no paywalled features, no notification spam, no dark patterns designed to keep you on the app instead of getting work done. StudyByMe is intentionally small: one screen, one timer, one goal.
